Las Vegas Raiders Super Star Maxx Crosby Makes Feelings Clear About Trade Rumors

The Las Vegas Raiders recently traded six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Davante Adams to the New York Jets for a conditional third-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. This move followed significant turmoil, as Adams had expressed a desire to be traded earlier in the season and didn’t play another snap for the Raiders after that request.

With this chapter closed, the Raiders, currently sitting at 2-4 after two heavy losses, must look ahead. This situation raises the possibility of the Raiders making additional moves before the NFL trade deadline on November 5.

With the trade deadline approaching in less than three weeks, star pass rusher Maxx Crosby has found himself in trade rumors. Speaking to reporters on Thursday, the Pro Bowler acknowledged the speculation but didn’t outright dismiss the idea of being traded.

“I’m not here to rebuild, I’m here to win. Whatever that means. But I’m here to win now. Wherever I’m gonna be, I’m gonna be here to win,” Crosby said.

Crosby’s comments echo what Adams expressed during his brief time with the Raiders: the focus is on winning and competing. Currently, the Raiders do not appear to be serious playoff contenders and seem to be more in a rebuilding phase than in contention in the AFC. Recent blowout losses to the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers reinforce this perspective.
