Grey Cup Favorites Lands CFL Superstars In Massive Blockbuster Trade

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats revealed on Wednesday that they have signed two Canadian players, namely defensive lineman Benoit Marion and defensive back Siriman Bagayogo.

Benoit Marion, aged 28, participated in a single game this season with the Toronto Argonauts, where he secured one special teams tackle. Originally from Montreal, Quebec, the six-foot-five, 250-pound player has played a total of 32 games across his four CFL seasons with the Argonauts from 2021 to 2024.

During this time, he accumulated 19 tackles in total, along with one quarterback sack and two forced fumbles. Marion was initially chosen by the Montreal Alouettes in the third round, 25th overall, in the 2020 CFL Draft.

Siriman Bagayogo, aged 26, played in 14 regular season matches in the previous season with the BC Lions, where he recorded nine total tackles, including six defensive tackles.

Hailing from Bois-Des-Filion, Quebec, the six-foot-three, 195-pound player also participated in two playoff games with the Lions, registering two special teams tackles. Bagayogo, a former University of Guelph defensive back, was selected by the Lions in the second round, 14th overall, in the 2023 CFL Draft.
