A four-star defensive lineman from St. Thomas Aquinas, has chosen to remain close to home. He recently announced his commitment to the University of Kansas on social media. After a brief stint with Missouri, where he decommitted after a month, Marks opted for Kansas.
He is ranked as the nation’s 377th overall prospect, the 31st in his position as a defensive lineman, and the sixth in Kansas for the 2025 recruiting cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, which combines data from four major recruiting media companies.
Marks expressed his admiration for the rebuilding efforts at Kansas under Coach Liephold, emphasizing the proximity of the university to his home, which is only a 20-minute drive away. He believes he can build a lasting legacy there.
Marks emphasized the importance of feeling at home in the school he selects, highlighting his search for a nurturing environment that prioritizes his development. The evolving landscape of college athletics with Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) considerations also played a role in his decision-making process.
Marks becomes the fifth recruit to join the University of Kansas’ 2025 recruiting class, alongside other promising talents like David McComb, Anderson Kopp, John Kelly, and Malachi Curvey.
