Originally from Terrebonne, Quebec, Canada, Vallerand made a significant impact on both the offensive and defensive aspects during her five seasons with West Virginia. Throughout her tenure, she appeared in 80 matches, starting 73 and totaling 6,079 minutes on the pitch. Vallerand scored 16 goals and provided six assists, accumulating 38 career points while clinching six game-winning goals. Notably, she also contributed to the team’s nine shutouts in her final season in 2023, showcasing her prowess in defense.
Recognized for her academic achievements, Vallerand was named to the Academic All-Big Teams five times. She completed her bachelor’s degree in criminology in December 2022 and furthered her education by earning a Master of Business Administration in the past December.
On the other hand, Bedoya joined West Virginia from UConn in January 2023, spending a single season with the Mountaineers. Hailing from New Bedford, Massachusetts, she featured in 18 matches, accumulating 302 minutes of playtime. Bedoya played a vital role in the offensive line, taking 13 shots and landing eight on target.
Bedoya graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies in May 2024.
