Just In: Oregon adds transfer veteran pitcher from Virginia Tech

The Oregon Ducks softball team is bolstering its pitching depth by adding talent from the transfer portal, as announced by the team. Lyndsey Grein, a sophomore transfer from Virginia Tech, officially joined Oregon on Friday. Grein, a right-handed pitcher, posted a 12-5 record with a 2.89 ERA and 134 strikeouts in the previous season with the Hokies.

Following the departures of pitchers Morgan Scott, Raegen Breedlove, and Stevie Hansen, Oregon faced a need to enhance its pitching roster. The addition of Grein aims to strengthen the team’s pitching staff as they prepare for their inaugural season in the Big Ten Conference.
