Nebraska’s recruiting efforts for the 2025 class receive a boost as Pierce Mooberry from Millard North commits to the team.
Mooberry, a talented linebacker, pledged his commitment to the Huskers, marking the tenth commitment for Nebraska. He joins a group of five in-state prospects, including Tyson Terry, Conor Booth, Jackson Carpenter, and Caden VerMaas.
Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 200 pounds, Mooberry showcased his versatility by excelling in coverage at safety in high school, hinting at a potential role as a rover or linebacker at the college level.
Before choosing Nebraska, Mooberry had scheduled visits to Minnesota and Kansas State but decided to commit to the Huskers following a memorable offer experience from Head Coach Matt Rhule.
Excited about the opportunity to contribute to Nebraska’s defense, Mooberry expressed his readiness to play as a linebacker or rover, highlighting his instinct, size, tackling ability, and coverage skills.
