Just In: “Massive Boost” Virginia Cavaliers Head Football Coach Tony Elliott Announces Major Commitment

Standing at 6 feet 3 inches and weighing 210 pounds, had received offers from local schools such as Duke, UNC, and NC State, a flexible defender from Asheville School, declared his intention to join the University of Virginia.

He made his commitment to the Cavaliers known through his X account. His profile on X indicates that he maintains a 4.0 GPA.

As a member of the class of 2025, Rowe has been seen as both a safety and a linebacker, although his recruitment was chiefly overseen by Virginia linebackers coach Mike Adams.

Throughout his recruitment journey, Rowe received offers from a wide array of institutions, including Missouri, Virginia Tech, Michigan, Boston College, Duke, Appalachian State, Southern Methodist, East Carolina, Charlotte, James Madison, Wake Forest, Syracuse, North Carolina, Liberty, Marshall, NC State, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, South Carolina, Virginia, UConn, Coastal Carolina, and Minnesota.

As of July 11, Rowe is considered a consensus 3-star prospect based on assessments from the four primary recruiting services: On3, 247Sports, ESPN, and Rivals.

His rankings range from being as high as the No. 24 rising senior in North Carolina, according to 247sports, to as low as the No. 31 prospect based on Rivals’ evaluations.

In 2023, Asheville School concluded their season with an 8-3 record and secured the N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association’s Division II state championship.
