Just In: “Massive Boost” Florida Gators Head Football Coach Billy Napier Announces Major Commitment

The Florida Gators have secured a punter from the 2025 class with a full scholarship offer. Hayden Craig, a student from Bridgton Academy in North Bridgton, Maine, recently made his commitment to Florida after visiting Gainesville and swiftly accepting the offer within 24 hours.

Ole Miss was another university that extended a scholarship offer to this upcoming senior. Craig is anticipated to step into the position left by Jeremy Crawshaw, who is set to graduate after this season.

Although he is not ranked on On3, Hayden Craig has received various rankings from Kohl’s Professional Camps, where he is listed as the 18th punter and the 56th kicker. Standing at 6 feet 2 inches and weighing 180 pounds, Craig shows promise in the kicking game.

“Craig participated in the Kohl’s Eastern Showcase Camp in May 2024 and displayed impressive skills across various areas. He achieved a score of 12 out of 15 on field goals and 104.15 points on kickoffs. His standout kickoff reached 65 yards with a hang time of 4.00 seconds. His punt practice was at a Division 1 level, earning him a score of 105.6 points on his punt charts.

“Craig is noted for his exceptional kicking abilities as a versatile athlete within the 2025 class. In December 2023, he received a 4.5-star rating after a strong performance at a winter Showcase Camp. He attained scores of 11 on field goals, 106.4 on kickoffs, and 103.4 on punts. His longest kickoff reached 71 yards with 3.75 seconds of hang time, while his best punt covered 46 yards with 4.31 seconds of hang time. Craig is a talented dual kicker and punter who could significantly enhance a college team’s roster with his exceptional skills!”

Following Craig’s commitment, the Gators have secured pledges from five prospects in the 2025 class, positioning them at 52nd place nationally in terms of their recruiting class ranking.
