Just in: Lakers Star LeBron James Tweets Out Cryptic Message to Atlanta Hawks After loss

Tensions are escalating in Los Angeles as the Lakers experienced another lopsided defeat on the road, this time against the Atlanta Hawks with a score of 138-122.

The situation was further fueled by Hawks’ fans relentlessly heckling D’Angelo Russell during the game. Additionally, Christian Wood seemingly made a subtly critical post on social media directed at head coach Darvin Ham shortly before the game, following the news that Jaxson Hayes would be starting at center.

And to top it off, a late-night tweet by LeBron James caused a stir on social media and grabbed everyone’s attention.

What is the exact meaning of this tweet? While an hourglass symbol could be seen as harmless, we know LeBron James well enough to understand that throughout his career, he doesn’t shy away from sending hidden messages through a platform like X.

It’s worth noting that this tweet was shared around 2:30 a.m. on the East Coast, where he is currently located. Following their loss, the Lakers find themselves tied with Utah for the final play-in spot. As of January 31st, LA is only leading Houston by 0.5 games and Golden State by 1.0 game.

Right from the start of the game against the Hawks, it was clear that the Lakers’ defensive effort was lacking. Anthony Davis was sidelined due to various nagging injuries, and as a result, the paint was wide open for Atlanta to take any shot they pleased.

Following the game, James seemed visibly down, but there was also a touch of anger in his postgame interview.

It’s reasonable to feel this way given the inconsistent performance of the team past the halfway mark of the season. Ham has been consistently criticized and blamed on almost every social media platform.

Many have questioned his coaching abilities and are perplexed by the choices he makes with regards to lineups and rotations. As frustration continues to build, it raises questions about what the future holds for the direction of this franchise.
