Just In: LA Kings sign goaltender to a one-year, two-way contract worth an average annual value of $775,000

As other teams are active before the trade deadline, the LA Kings opted to make an internal move involving one of their goaltending prospects on Wednesday afternoon.

The Kings revealed that goalie Jacob Ingham secured a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 AAV, and the team disclosed in a press statement that he will be loaned to Greenville. This development occurred shortly after Tony Androckitis from Inside AHL Hockey reported that the Ontario Reign and Ingham decided to mutually terminate his AHL contract.

During the summer, Taylor Swift embarked on the Eras Tour, while Ingham kicked off his redemption journey in September with a determined attitude for the season ahead. Following a back injury that caused him to miss the previous season, he inked an AHL contract in the summer. After participating in 24 games in the ECHL and six in the AHL, maintaining a .916 save percentage, he was granted an NHL contract by the organization as a reward.
