According to the CFL Transactions page, the Ottawa Redblacks added defensive lineman T.J. Rayam to their practice squad on Tuesday.
Standing at six feet tall and weighing 291 pounds, the 26-year-old player hails from Edmonton, Alberta. He was selected by the Calgary Stampeders in the 2022 CFL Supplemental Draft. Rayam spent two seasons with Calgary, accumulating 20 tackles and three sacks across 21 games before being released by the team on May 15, 2024.
During his college career at Boston College from 2017 to 2021, Rayam showcased his skills over five seasons, recording 101 tackles (48 solo, 53 assists), 12 tackles for loss, two sacks, and two pass breakups in 50 games for the Eagles.
