Georgia Tech is in the running to secure the commitment of three-star wide receiver Isaiah Mizell, who is scheduled to announce his decision on July 10th.
Ranked as the No. 128 player in Florida, the No. 159 wide receiver nationally, and the No. 1001 player overall by 247Sports Composite, Mizell has narrowed down his options to Arizona, Kansas State, Syracuse, and Georgia Tech.
Mizell, who displayed exceptional speed and playmaking ability on the football field, wrapped up his junior season at Boone High School with impressive stats, including 49 receptions for 1,057 yards and a school-record 22 receiving touchdowns.
Known for his quick releases off the line of scrimmage and ability to stretch the field, Mizell also excels at turning short receptions into explosive scoring plays with his decisive cuts and speed.
After receiving an offer from Georgia Tech on April 1st, Mizell visited the campus on the weekend of June 7th-9th, during which the Yellow Jackets secured commitments from several recruits.
If Mizell chooses Georgia Tech, he is expected to contribute in the slot position and potentially as a kick returner, utilizing his speed and route-running skills to excel in one-on-one matchups and provide a reliable target in the passing game.
His addition would bolster Georgia Tech’s 2025 recruiting class at the wide receiver position, joining fellow commits Sam Turner, Jamauri Brice, and Cal Faulkner.
