The Edmonton Elks announced on Tuesday that they have added National receiver to their practice roster.
Antoine, aged 26, was drafted by the Montreal Alouettes in the fifth round, 47th overall, in the 2024 CFL Draft. A native of Quebec, he attended the Alouettes’ training camp and played in one preseason game before being released in early June.
During his college career, Antoine played two seasons at Laval University (2022-23), where he caught 29 passes for 330 yards and scored one touchdown in 13 games. He was part of the Vanier Cup-winning team with the Rouge et Or in 2022.
In related moves, the Elks have released National fullback Bruno Lagacé.
The Elks will resume practice on Tuesday to prepare for their upcoming away game against the Toronto Argonauts on Saturday, June 22.
