Ryan Cameron Named Public Address Announcer for Georgia Tech Football

THE FLATS – Ryan Cameron, an Emmy Award-winning figure, will take on the role of public address announcer for all Georgia Tech home football games during the 2024 season, as announced by the athletic department.

Cameron, a respected radio personality, voiceover artist, and entrepreneur, is recognized in both the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame and the National Black Radio Hall of Fame. As a Georgia native, he was the first African American public address announcer for the Atlanta Hawks and currently serves in the same capacity for the Atlanta Falcons. Recently, he became the official voice for Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

With over 25 years in the entertainment industry, Cameron is a founding partner of the Threaded Agency, a global sports branding firm. He also hosts the WAMJ MAJIC 107.5/97.5 afternoon radio show and has produced and directed several TV One programs. In 2002, he established the Ryan Cameron Foundation to assist underserved youth in transitioning to adulthood.

Fans can expect to hear Cameron’s voice at Bobby Dodd Stadium on Aug. 31 when Georgia Tech faces Georgia State at 8 p.m..
