Five members of the Duke women’s lacrosse team were selected to the 2025 Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) South All-Region team, the organization announced Friday.

Senior Carly Bernstein led the group as a First Team South All-Region honoree, while sophomore Bella Goodwin, graduate student Callie Hem, senior Kerry Nease, and redshirt sophomore Eva Pronti earned Second Team recognition.

Bernstein topped the Blue Devils in scoring with 82 points, tallying 46 goals and 36 assists. She had a standout performance against Louisville on April 12, scoring a career-best six goals and adding two assists for a personal-high eight-point game. Bernstein recorded three or more points in 17 games and ranks seventh in the ACC with an average of 1.80 assists per game. Her 36 assists place her seventh in Duke’s single-season records, while her 82 total points are tied for 11th. With 80 career assists, she stands sixth all-time in program history.

Goodwin notched three or more goals in 10 games, finishing the season with 53 goals and 18 assists for 71 points. She matched her career-high with six goals in Duke’s NCAA second-round game versus Virginia on May 11, equaling a mark she initially reached against Brown on April 1.

Hem led the team in goals with 67 and added five assists for 72 points. She tied the program record for most goals in a single game, scoring eight in the NCAA first-round matchup against JMU on May 9. Her 67 goals rank her fourth on Duke’s single-season goals list.

Duke vs. Florida

Nease was Duke’s top performer in draw controls, collecting 112 over the season. She recorded 10 or more draw controls in five games and averaged 5.60 per contest, ranking fourth in the ACC. She hit a season-high of 12 draw controls twice – once in the opener against Elon (Feb. 7) and again against Pittsburgh (April 5). Nease is fourth in career draw controls at Duke with 226 and fifth for a single season.

Pronti led the team in assists, setting a new program single-season record with 49. She also scored 13 goals. Pronti twice tied the school’s single-game assist record with seven – once against Virginia (March 15) and again in the NCAA first round versus JMU (May 9). Her 2.45 assists per game average ranks fourth in the ACC.
