The Milwaukee Bucks are at a turning point in their career as their window for a title is closing. The pressure to get better, especially with a roster already full of skill, can result in seemingly extreme actions used to increase the team’s chances of contending for the title in the competitive Eastern Conference.
According to one such trade idea from Greg Swartz of Bleacher Report, the Golden State Warriors would acquire longtime franchise cornerstone Khris Middleton in return for Jerami Grant in a three-team trade that also includes the Portland Trail Blazers.

The NBA season of 2021–2022 will forever be remembered as a huge “what if” for the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Bucks appeared well-positioned to defend their title with Giannis Antetokounmpo leading the way, Khris Middleton scoring over 20 points per game, and Jrue Holiday excelling at two-way basketball. But Middleton stumbled during their first-round playoff series against the Chicago Bulls, spraining his MCL, which prevented him from playing for the rest of the NBA Playoffs.
Milwaukee forced the eventual Eastern Conference Champion Boston Celtics to seven games in the second round, despite Khris Middleton’s injury. They suffered a crushing defeat in Game 7, leaving Middleton’s injury as one of the major “what ifs” in the history of the team. Would Fiserv have a second banner hanging there.
