Huge News: Oregon State Lands Major Update from brilliant UW pitcher

The junior spent three seasons with UW where he had a 4.90 ERA, and a 6-2 record across 93.2 innings.
In 2025, Yeager received First-Team All-Big Ten honors as a relief pitcher. The junior held a 3.78 ERA over 47.2 innings with 57 strikeouts. Yeager’s best performance of the year came in a win against UCLA on April 11 where he pitched three innings without allowing a run and racked up six strikeouts.
The 6-foot-6 right-hander joins an Oregon State squad that reached the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska, this past season and boasted a record of 48-16-1. OSU’s remarkable season ended with a loss to Louisville 7-6.
Yeager becomes the second UW player in as many years to join Oregon State. A season ago, junior shortstop Aiva Arquette transferred to the Beaver after a stellar season with the Huskies.
The shortstop is now regarded as a consensus top 10 draft pick in the upcoming MLB Draft on July 13.
Washington head coach Eddie Smith will now have to replace his best reliever in Yeager and best starter in senior Max Banks from a season ago.
