The brother of a current Clemson standout recently discussed his offer from the Tigers.
Clemson has been securing top-tier talent for its future recruiting classes. Dabo Swinney and his team have assembled an impressive class for 2025 and are now focusing on their 2026 class.
One notable prospect in the 2026 class is Storm Miller.
Storm, the brother of current Clemson offensive tackle Blake Miller, has received an offer from the Tigers. He is a four-star linebacker with a promising future ahead of him.
The younger Miller shared how his brother’s experience at Clemson has influenced his own journey.
“Obviously with my brother, he’s been through that whole recruiting process with Clemson, so I’ve gone down there every year for almost four years now. So, it really does feel like a second home at this point. So to finally get that offer, and coach Swinney doesn’t really give out a lot of offers, so it really meant a lot. It was like a surreal feeling – almost like a ‘we made it’ kind of feeling because of my brother and stuff. So, it was super cool.”
He also shared his brother’s reaction to his offer from Clemson.
“He was just super proud of me. He watched me at camp and said he believes I can definitely play there. He’s not pushing me towards Clemson; he wants me to make my own decision, which I appreciate. But Clemson will definitely be a top contender when it’s time to decide.”
Why are the Tigers so interested in the young linebacker? Miller explained this in his interview as well.
“Really, it’s my aggressiveness and physicality as a player. Coach Goodwin really values that. Also, speed is a big factor, and I’ve been improving in that area. Those are probably the two biggest aspects – speed and aggressiveness. I believe almost everything else can be taught. Coach Goodwin has a great football mind, which I think I share with him. So, while many skills can be taught, you can’t really teach physicality, aggressiveness, and the mental side of the game.”
Many other schools are also showing significant interest in Miller. He is currently considering offers from Notre Dame, Michigan State, and Kentucky, among others.
Clearly, Clemson has an advantage. Miller is very familiar with the Tigers and has seen his brother thrive in the program.
While he has yet to make a decision, it seems like Clemson has a strong chance of securing him as a key part of their future defen
