How to watch and listen to the Padres on your TV, mobile device and computer and radio this season
The San Diego Padres are embarking on their 56th season in Major League Baseball and their 20th year at Petco Park, starting on Thursday. Just like any new season, there are changes in store.
In November, the Padres appointed Mike Shildt as their new manager and made a trade for starting pitcher Dylan Cease shortly before the season’s commencement. Some familiar features include Fernando Tatis Jr. returning to his position in right field, the TV commentary duo of Don Orsillo and Mark Grant, radio coverage by Jesse Agler and Tony Gwynn Jr., and the availability of games for streaming on Padres.TV for the second consecutive year.

TV
Padres TV, the network that broadcasts Padres games, is now accessible on various platforms including AT&T U-verse (Channel 781 or 1781), Cox (Channel 83), Spectrum (Channel 305 or 443), and DirecTV (Channel 694-3). Some Padres games will also be featured on national television networks.
ESPN will televise Padres’ games as part of “Sunday Night Baseball” on April 14 against the Los Angeles Dodgers and on May 19 against the Atlanta Braves. Fox Sports will broadcast Saturday games on March 30 against the San Francisco Giants, May 18 against the Atlanta Braves, June 22 against the Milwaukee Brewers, and July 13 against the Atlanta Braves. FS1 is set to air games on June 5 against the Los Angeles Angels, July 27 against the Baltimore Orioles, and August 19 against the Minnesota Twins. TBS will showcase the April 9 game versus the Chicago Cubs.

Streaming
Fubo, an online streaming platform, will offer Padres TV.
Once again, viewers can watch Padres games live or on-demand on various devices such as smart TVs, mobile phones, and computers. Fans in San Diego can subscribe to Padres.TV for 99.99 for the entire 2024 season. For Padres enthusiasts outside of San Diego looking to watch the games, they would need to opt for the MLB.TV + Padres.TV package, priced at 199.99 annually.
Don Orsillo and Mark Grant will provide commentary during the games, while Bob Scanlan and Mariluz Cook will serve as sideline reporters.
As part of the “Friday Night Baseball” series, Apple TV+ will stream the interleague game between the Padres and Boston Red Sox on June 28.
Radio
For the seventh consecutive year, every game will be transmitted on the Padres’ main radio station 97.3 FM. Jesse Agler and Tony Gwynn Jr. will be the main radio announcers. Additionally, XEMO-860 AM La Ponderosa will continue to broadcast Padres games in Spanish.
