Hits continue for Oregon State men as another starter enters transfer portal
The third member of Oregon State men’s basketball has made his way to the portal.
Guard Nate Kingz is entering the portal, joining forward Michael Rataj and guard DaJohn Craig as players to hit the portal on Tuesday. Kingz confirmed the reported move on his instagram stories.
Kingz, a Salem, Oregon native, averaged 11.8 points per game while shooting 44.6% from beyond the arc. That mark is the fifth best in a single season in program history.
Kingz transferred from the College of Southern Idaho following the 2022-23 season, but he missed the 2023-24 season with an ACL injury.
The redshirt junior helped Oregon State win 20 games for the first time since 1989-90. The Beavers will play in the inaugural Crown tournament in Las Vegas, which begins next week.
