In 2023, the Miami Dolphins were unable to entice running back Dalvin Cook to return home, but perhaps this time.
Born in Miami, Cook hasn’t signed with a team yet following a disappointing 2023 season with the New York Jets. Cook has that vision for Miami, a playoff club in 2023, even though the carries might not follow. At running back, the Dolphins have two very talented players in Raheem Mostert and De’Von Achane, who combined for over 800 yards in the previous season.
Running backs may sustain injuries, though, and Cook might come in handy when required without breaking the cash. Cook may not find as large of a contract given his upcoming free agency, even though the Jets offered him a one-year, $7 million deal last year.
