Highly Conflicting as 5 Key Bengals Players Missed Practice On Thursday

On Monday night, the Cincinnati Bengals aimed to achieve their first win of the season against the Washington Commanders after enduring consecutive losses to the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs at the start of the 2024 campaign.

The Bengals were favored to win at their home field, Paycor Stadium, against the Commanders, who are seeking to improve with rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels.

Despite the Bengals’ offense performing well, with superstar quarterback Joe Burrow passing for 324 yards and three touchdowns, Cincinnati’s defense struggled significantly, allowing Daniels and his team to score easily.

Following their defeat to the Commanders in Week 3, the Bengals now find themselves at 0-3 to start the season. Things may have worsened as they head into Week 4, with several key players listed on the injury report ahead of their game against the Carolina Panthers, as noted by Mike Petraglia of the Jungle Roar Podcast.

Trent Brown, Trey Hendrickson, BJ Hill, Sheldon Rankins, and Tanner Hudson did not practice on Thursday.

The potential absence of Trey Hendrickson and Trent Brown could really make things difficult for the Bengals in Week 4 against a resurgent Panthers, who made easy work of the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 3.

Even though the Bengals have shown that they can still light up the scoreboard, the fact they can’t stop anyone defensively could be the team’s downfall this season, which is a shame, considering Burrow’s return under center and looking like he’s back to form.
