Oregon State has lost its second inside linebacker in two days, as another player has decided to enter the NCAA transfer portal. This follows the departure of another starting inside linebacker, who announced his transfer on Friday.
The player, a redshirt sophomore with two years of eligibility left, started 10 games this season, recording 45 tackles—third on the team behind safety Skyler Thomas and his fellow linebacker.
This transfer marks the ninth player from Oregon State’s 2024 roster seeking to leave, with three key defensive starters involved: the aforementioned linebacker, as well as cornerback Andre Jordan Jr.
With both players now departing, the Beavers’ top inside linebackers are Dexter Foster and Aiden Sullivan. However, there are plenty of prospects available, as the transfer portal is filled with inside linebacker talent. Additionally, the team is adding an inside linebacker in their 2025 signing class, Jeremiah Ioane from Nevada.
