Clemson has secured a highly sought-after safety from, NC. The player, standing at 6’0″ and weighing 165 pounds, announced his commitment to the Tigers during a media event at his high school. He chose Clemson over several competitors, including NC State, where he had made multiple visits and was offered the opportunity to play on offense. He also recently explored options with Michigan and kept Florida State in consideration until the end.
However, Clemson was always a significant contender throughout his recruitment process. He attended a Tigers game last November and took his official visit during the first weekend in June, along with two game visits this season.
“It’s not too far and it’s not too close to home either,” he said after his announcement, indicating that NC State was the hardest decision to make. “I feel like I have the chance to play early. They’ve just been consistent with me throughout the whole process and I’m just ready to be a Tiger.” He expressed his relief at finalizing his decision and excitement for what lies ahead in his football journey, stating, “I’m a hard-working player, a long-rangy DB, and when I get the ball in my hands I’m looking to score.”
