An injury to MarShawn Lloyd created a 53-man roster spot for former BYU running back Chris Brooks with the Green Bay Packers.
The Packers added Brooks to their active roster on Tuesday, September 17.
Brooks was originally signed by the Miami Dolphins on May 12, 2023. As a rookie, he played in nine games, accumulating 106 yards on 19 carries. After being released by the Dolphins during the 2024 training camp, he was initially signed to the Packers’ practice squad.
