Green Bay Packers Make Major Announcement Ahead of Showdown vs. Bears

Support is coming for the Green Bay Packers’ offense. After coming off their bye week and seeking to recover from a loss to the Detroit Lions, the Packers are set to face Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears this week, and they might be adding some valuable depth to their roster.

This week, the Packers have opened the practice window for rookie running back Marshawn Lloyd, who is working to return from an ankle injury he sustained just six carries into his NFL debut earlier this season against the Colts.

Lloyd, who was chosen No. 88 overall in the third-round of this spring’s NFL Draft, could look to climb the depth chart behind Josh Jacobs Emmanuel Wilson.

The Packers and Lloyd now have 21 days to decide whether he is healthy enough to return to game action, or else Green Bay must revert the rookie to full-season injured reserve.
