Good News For The Rays Junior Caminero Receive Another Big Tittle
This week, I decided to have a little fun with the Rays Reacts sponsorship from FanDuel by posing a simple question: who was the biggest All-Star snub?
One name stood out above the rest—Junior Caminero. Fortunately, that oversight didn’t last long. Caminero was soon named as an injury replacement for Alex Bregman and then elevated to the American League’s starting third baseman after Jose Ramirez withdrew from the midsummer classic. But that’s not all—he’s also set to compete in the Home Run Derby!
And just when you thought it was over—surprise! There’s another All-Star in the mix!

Here’s a bit of a surprise—while we didn’t use ranked-choice voting, 18% of you strongly believed Drew Rasmussen deserved an All-Star selection. And your support paid off—he was just officially named to the All-Star Game moments ago!

Rasmussen now joins Junior Caminero, Brandon Lowe (currently on the IL), and Jonathan Aranda on the All-Star Game roster, giving Rays fans plenty to cheer for.
Still need another reason to tune in?
As always, if you’re looking to place some baseball bets—maybe a few ASG prop wagers—you can head over to FanDuel and see what’s available!
