Good News: Auburn Confirmed Another Top Commitment Of A Talented Four-star From Georgia
One of Georgia’s top linebacker prospects is nearing a decision, and Auburn remains firmly in the mix.
Anthony Davis, a four-star linebacker from Grayson High School in Loganville, Georgia, announced that he will make his college choice on Saturday, August 2. Auburn is one of four finalists, joined by Alabama, Michigan, and Ole Miss.

In a recent conversation with Chad Simmons of Rivals, Davis shared his thoughts on each of his top contenders. Regarding Auburn, he emphasized how familiar and comfortable he feels there.
“I’ve been to Auburn a thousand times, and when you visit a place that often, it starts to feel like home,” Davis said. “I’ve seen so much at Auburn, and there’s a lot that I really like.”
Auburn is hoping to secure Davis to bolster its 2026 recruiting class. Grayson High has a strong track record of producing high-level talent, and Auburn is looking to rebound after missing out on another Grayson standout, quarterback Travis Burgess.
So where do the Tigers stand going into Davis’ announcement? According to Rivals, Auburn is currently the favorite with a 34% chance of landing him, ahead of Alabama’s 20.9%. Davis made an official visit to Auburn on May 30 and has been to the campus more than any other school—eight visits in total.
Davis, listed at 6-foot-1 and 205 pounds, is ranked as the No. 17 linebacker nationally and the No. 28 overall player in Georgia for the 2026 recruiting cycle, per On3’s Industry Ranking.
