The Brent Key Coach’s Show is Back for the 2024 Season.
Football fans, get ready for an exciting new season of Georgia Tech football! The Brent Key Coach’s Show, driven by Hyundai, is returning for the 2024 season on Tuesday, August 20th. This official radio show of Georgia Tech football head coach Brent Key will air live from New Realm Brewing Co. on the Atlanta BeltLine (550 Somerset Terrace NE, Atlanta, GA 30306) from 6-7 p.m.
During the show, Coach Key and the “Voice of the Yellow Jackets,” Andy Demetra, will preview the highly anticipated season opener against Florida State. The event is open to the public, and all Tech fans are encouraged to come out and show their support for Coach Key and the team. New Realm Brewing Co. will be featuring their Georgia Tech-inspired beers, Helluvienna Lager and Ale of an Engineer, so be sure to grab a cold one while you’re there!
Can’t make it to the live show? No problem! The Brent Key Coach’s Show will be available worldwide on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets app and statewide on the Georgia Tech Sports Network from Legends, including 106.3 FM XTRA in metro Atlanta. However, the show will not air on 680 AM/93.7 FM The Fan due to Atlanta Braves coverage.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there! 680 The Fan’s Chuck and Chernoff Show will also be broadcasting live from New Realm Brewing Co. on Tuesday, August 20th, from 2-6 p.m.
The following week, the Brent Key Coach’s Show will move to its regular Thursday time slot of 6-7 p.m. The show prior to the home opener against Georgia State will also air live at New Realm Brewing Co. on Thursday, August 29th.
For the second consecutive year, each episode of the Brent Key Coach’s Show will be followed by The Good Word, hosted by Georgia Tech Sports Network sideline reporter Chris Mooneyham, pregame show host Justin Hanover, and Tech alumnus Wiley Ballard. This in-depth Yellow Jackets talk and analysis segment will air from 7-8 p.m. and can be heard worldwide on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets app and exclusively in the Atlanta area on 680 AM/93.7 The Fan or 106.3 FM XTRA.
Mark your calendars, because Georgia Tech kicks off the 2024 season on Saturday, August 24th, against Florida State in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN with a noon ET kickoff.
