The turnaround that Adam Cushing has been able to pull off with the offensive line for Texas A&M football is nothing short of astounding. The Aggies in the pre-Mike Elko days had a nearly constant struggle with the quality of their offensive line after the banner season they had in 2020, with an extremely experienced front.
We saw some huge strides made in this past year, which is no easy feat given that there was so much upheaval in the offseason. What with a wholesale coaching change and the addition of several transfers— not to mention some of the players already on campus shifting positions— it’s really impressive that A&M’s line was as good as it was.
One of the brightest spots for the Aggies in this respect was Kansas transfer Ar’maj Reed-Adams. He was actually one of the less discussed transfers from this previous cycle, coming in as a relative unknown to this fanbase, but his impact was likely the most profound out of the whole class.

He quickly made a name for himself as one of the best players and most vocal leaders on this Aggie team. While Chase Bisontis is probably a better player, Reed-Adams was almost more indispensable to the team due to everything he brings.
For those reasons, there are several outlets really high on Reed-Adams for the upcoming year, especially with regard to his status as a draft prospect. You can see that momentum beginning to build in several ways— including this latest development, which saw Ar’maj predicted as an all-American for this upcoming year.

For my part, I think both Bisontis and Reed-Adams have a chance to show up on this list, as well as several other Aggie players if things go well. I’m excited to see what a full season of Le’Veon Moss looks like in this A&M lineup, for one thing, and KC Concepcion could have an extremely productive year as well.
If nothing else, this shows well just how highly Reed-Adams is being regarded at the moment. A strong spring for him would go a long way into seeing him fulfill all the promise that is just beginning to be nationally recognized.
