Juan Soto remains one of the most effective players in Major League Baseball, and he hasn’t even turned 26 yet.
Former Washington Nationals star Juan Soto has achieved something unprecedented in baseball history. Now playing for the New York Yankees, Soto hit his 30th home run of the season during a victory on Sunday, marking a historic milestone.

One of the top hitters in baseball, Soto hit 34 home runs for the Nationals in 2019. He also recorded 35 homers with the San Diego Padres in 2023 and currently has 30 (and counting) with the Yankees.
Soto, a remarkable talent, made his MLB debut with the Nationals during the 2018 season at just 19 years old. He played a key role in leading Washington to a World Series championship in 2019 and was selected as an All-Star for the Nationals in both 2021 and 2022.
Due to their inability to sign him to a long-term contract, the Nationals traded Soto to the Padres during the 2022 season, who then sent him to the Yankees in the most recent offseason.
At only 25 years old, Soto is already a World Series champion, a four-time All-Star, a batting champion, a four-time Silver Slugger winner, and a Home Run Derby champion.
He is set to become a free agent at the end of the 2024 season and is expected to command one of the largest contracts in baseball history, second only to Shohei Ohtani.
