Colts GM Confesses Glaring Tight End Problem Despite Having 6 TEs as Shane Steichen Hints at More Changes

They keep moving parts—too bad the scoreboard stays the same. The poor offensive line play, a wave of penalties, and several dropped passes. It all concludes the embarrassing gameplay of Shane Steichen’s Indianapolis Colts against the Detroit Lions. If it were any other team, they’d probably be making some big changes by now. But the Colts? They’ve already switched things up a bunch—and they’re not done yet.

Well, the offensive line play was rough, and the Colts management knows it all too well. And it’s not just the rookies—veterans like Quenton Nelson and Braden Smith were struggling out there too, with 3 and 1 penalties, respectively. That’s the reason coach Steichen will look at possible changes in the offensive line for the next game.

As per Athletic’s James Boyd, when asked about the offensive line, Steichen said, “Yeah, we’ll look at the offensive line. We’ll look at everything. But again, I got a lot of faith in those guys. Man, they’re gonna keep battling like crazy. We’ll be fine.” We get it, Steichen. We’ll be keeping an eye on the offensive line too.
