Cincinnati Nails Big Board Value in The Athletic’s Three-Round Mock Draft
The Athletic’s Nick Baumgardner released his latest three-round NFL mock draft this week and had the Bengals picking a familiar name at No. 17: Marshall edge rusher Mike Green.
“Like [Abdul] Carter, [Will] Campbell and [Jalon] Walker, Green is a phenomenal athlete who gives off [Micah] Parsons-like vibes in terms of versatility,” Baumgardner wrote. “There also are serious off-field questions here teams will have to investigate before making a decision.”
Green is the consensus big board’s 18th-best player and fifth-best edge rusher.
Next, Cincinnati selected Georgia offensive lineman Tate Ratledge at Pick 49 and Notre Dame safety Xavier Watts at Pick 81.
Ratledge is ranked 68th on the consensus big board and sixth among interior offensive linemen, while Watts is 49th on that big board and third among safeties.
