Report: Cincinnati Bearcats Forward Cleared to Play by NCAA

It could fully complete this season’s roster.

Cincinnati men’s basketball received positive eligibility news ahead of Monday’s season opener. Bearcat Journal’s Chad Brendel reported that a player has successfully won his waiver from the NCAA and is eligible to play this season.

The French big man will help fill a rotational gap left by Tyler McKinley.

He showcased his skills in the FIFA U20 Eurobasket 2024, where he averaged eight points and 4.4 rebounds over seven games. The 6-10 forward also played for Lille in the France ProB league last season, contributing 6.1 points per game in 19.1 minutes.

This player, Dzellat, is now set to make an impact on the team this season.
