Chiefs Superfan Pleads Guilty To 11 Bank Robberies, As Patrick Mahomes request for Portrait

“A devoted fan of the Chiefs, known as ‘Chiefsaholic,’ pleaded guilty on Wednesday to a series of bank robberies or attempted robberies and may potentially receive a 50-year prison sentence, as per the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Western District of Missouri.

Xaviar Babudar confessed to engaging in 11 robberies or attempted bank robberies spanning across seven states, leading to the possibility of a 50-year imprisonment and a $500,000 restitution penalty, according to the U.S. attorney’s office.

In addition to the hefty restitution sum of $532,675, Babudar will be required to surrender an autographed portrait of Patrick Mahomes that he possesses, as confirmed by the attorney’s office.”

“According to U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson of the Northern District of Oklahoma, Babudar entered a bank in Bixby, Oklahoma, demanded money, and threatened to use violence if his demands were not met. Johnson expressed gratitude for the collaborative efforts of the Bixby Police Department, the FBI, and federal prosecutors in ensuring accountability for Babudar, emphasizing the significant threat he posed to public safety.

I find it hilarious to imagine this individual robbing a bank while dressed in a full mascot costume. Even though there is no concrete evidence to support this scenario, I can’t help but envision it for its comedic value.”

Even though the general context may seem amusing, the gravity of certain alleged offenses committed by Babudar is far from laughable. Reports indicate that during a robbery incident, Babudar allegedly aimed a gun at a bank staff member and threatened to shoot him unless he handed over $150,000, as detailed by News On 6.

Despite the firearm turning out to be a non-lethal CO2 pistol, as per News On 6, the bank employee was unaware of this fact during the ordeal, undoubtedly leading to a distressing experience.

Adding to the absurdity of the situation, Babudar’s attorney held a memorable press conference after the plea, praising his client’s determination.

“In my understanding of Xavier and in the Chiefs Kingdom’s knowledge of Chiefsaholic, we are aware that he is resilient. Even if he faced setbacks and challenges, he refused to surrender. He never allowed himself to falter completely. This is because he has the potential to achieve remarkable feats, and he remains optimistic about the future.”
