Chiefs’ Head Coach: “Wow” How Josh Allen Embodies Winning Mentality

The Buffalo Bills are on a roll with an 11-3 record and hunting down first place in the AFC, and Josh Allen is a big reason why.

With an offensive scheme that is designed to get the ball to whoever is open, Allen is dishing out targets to everyone on the field, including running backs, so it makes it hard for defenses to zero in on just one player. Plus, Allen has been Superman over the last two weeks as the offense has scored 40+ points, he has thrown for 704 yards, has 10 total touchdowns, and is laying waste to defenses. For offensive coordinator Joe Brady, he’s in awe at what Allen is doing, and stated that the entire locker room is following No. 17 as he essentially embodies a winning mentality.

“There’s so many times you call the play, and I feel like before I’m calling the next play, I’m just communicating to him just how impressive that was or whatnot,” Brady said. “But he’s locked in, he gets to the game, he’s prepared, he has a fine line of making sure that he’s loose with the guys, has a great pulse of the locker room and knowing how he’s gonna be ready to go and the guys follow him. He understands that the only thing he cares about is finding ways to win football games and I think our team kind of embodies that as well because of him.

” With three games left in the regular season, two of which are against the New England Patriots, the Bills are in a great spot to finish the season with a 14-3 record, and who knows where that will place them in the AFC pecking order. The Bills have been dominant in the regular season before and have failed in the playoffs, but this time, it feels different. Let’s see if the end result is too.
