There were moments when it seemed unlikely that the Hoops would win, but Brendan Rodgers and company came through when it counted.

The Hoops have only lost one league game and drawn another since a thrilling 3-1 victory away at Motherwell at the end of February, demonstrating their endurance in contrast to their city rivals.

The Celts played some of their finest football of the season with victories over Hearts, Rangers, and Killie as things began to fall into place toward the close of the year.

In fact, manager Rodgers asserts that after Celtic’s March defeat at Tynecastle, they realized they needed to “fight” and unite in order to reach such a rich vein of form.

After trophy day, the boss was asked what spurred his team’s title-winning form in an interview with CeltsAreHere. “I think it’s recognition that we’re in a fight and that we naturally fight together,” he stated.

“It’s a different sport for us now that we’ve realized we need to stick together after Hearts away.” Over the past two months, we’ve felt that connection and watched the players’ energy flow.
