Calgary Stampeders says goodbye to two key players

Keon Raymond and Spencer Wilson have signed one-day contracts to retire as Calgary Stampeders. These two familiar figures from their successful past were key players on two Grey Cup-winning teams.

Keon Raymond was an impactful player for the Stampeders, participating in 120 games and securing Grey Cups in 2014 and 2018. He shares the record for the most interception returns for touchdowns in franchise history with five and holds the record for the most career interceptions among Stampeders players in the past 30 years with 24 picks.

Now residing in Calgary, Raymond expressed that signing this contract to retire as a Stampeder marks the conclusion of an important chapter in his life.
