The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost to the Atlanta Falcons 36-30 in overtime during Thursday Night Football. The Pewter Pirates have struggled with injuries throughout the season, particularly on the defensive side.
But Thursday night it was their quarterback Baker Mayfield being sacked and rolled up on that drew a collective gasp from Bucs Nation.

The primary concern for Bucs fans after the game was the condition of Baker Mayfield. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport offered an update:
“#Bucs QB Baker Mayfield, who sustained a minor ankle injury but did not miss any plays, is reported to be ‘good,’ according to sources. There are no significant issues.”
Mayfield and the offense have been crucial in securing the team’s three victories this season. Losing him could have been devastating as they approach a challenging part of their schedule.
Mayfield and the Buccaneers now have 10 days to rest and recover before facing their division rival, the New Orleans Saints.
