The club, owned by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, is gearing up for their first season in League One after achieving consecutive promotions from the National League.

Williamson, who previously held positions such as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Strategy Officer, and Co-CEO of the San Siro Stadium at Inter Milan, brings a wealth of experience to Wrexham. He has also worked in MLS with DC United and David Beckham’s Inter Miami. In a statement released by the club, Williamson expressed his delight at joining Wrexham AFC after their impressive back-to-back promotions to League One.
