BREAKING: UCLA DeShaun Foster gets brutally honest as he discusses Big Ten’s Effect on Recruitment Strategy

Bruins head coach DeShaun Foster is confident that UCLA’s transition to the Big Ten will boost its recruitment prospects.

As UCLA football gears up for its first season in the Big Ten, the program is set to revamp its recruitment approach.

With the Bruins facing stiffer competition ahead, Foster remains hopeful about the opportunities this change will provide.

Joining the Big Ten means UCLA will now go up against some of the top teams in college football, which could significantly impact their ability to attract new talent. Foster believes that being part of this esteemed conference will facilitate recruiting, especially since games will take place closer to home.

“Most definitely. Because now I can tell parents, you can see your son play,” Foster said on the Big 10 Network. “It was tough coming into the Midwest and asking parents like hand your son over and let me take him back west and you might not see him play unless you come to see us. But now that we are going to be playing locally and around this area, I’m excited for that and I’ve seen a lot of parents that are open to it.”

The Bruins can utilize their Southern California location and the excitement of high-profile games to attract potential recruits.

This new era in the Big Ten could establish UCLA as a major contender in college football recruitment, potentially taking the program to new levels in the years ahead.
