Final Injury Report Reveals Surprises
The Los Angeles Rams have issued their final injury report before their Week 15 road game against the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday Night Football. Two players have been ruled out, impacting their chances of victory.
As the Rams (7-6) aim for their third consecutive win and a division victory, they will face their rivals, the 49ers (6-7), in Santa Barbara. Updates from the injury report are significant as the team prepares for this crucial matchup.
Despite a short week for preparation, the Rams are relatively healthy, with only two players—starting tight end Tyler Higbee (knee) and cornerback Cobie Durant (chest)—unable to play. Higbee was initially expected to participate, having practiced fully throughout the week, but he will need more recovery time. Backup tight ends Colby Parkinson, Hunter Long, and Davis Allen will step in, with Parkinson taking the lead.
On the other hand, Durant will miss his first game of the season due to a chest injury incurred during the previous game against the Bills. He is expected to return for the next week’s game after a mini-bye. Durant has been a critical component of the defense, recording 40 tackles, one sack, and one interception. His absence will be felt, especially against a 49ers team that may rely heavily on the passing game.
Additionally, there are six players listed as questionable on the Rams’ report: defensive end Tyler Davis (calf), receiver Jordan Whittington (shoulder), receiver Demarcus Robinson (shoulder), tight end Davis Allen (shoulder), center Beaux Limmer (knee), and offensive lineman Alaric Jackson (knee). Their game-time statuses could significantly affect the Rams’ offensive performance and the pressure on quarterback Matthew Stafford.
