Ohio State Buckeyes fans that want to see Ryan Day replaced as head coach will not love his answer about whether he would be interested in taking a different job elsewhere.
Day was asked Wednesday if he had ever considered leaving Ohio State for a different college job. He shut that down quickly, saying he had never given it any thought, and that his only focus would remain on getting the Buckeyes back on track.
Put simply, if Ryan Day ever leaves the Buckeyes, it will likely be because the school decides to part ways with him.
Day has faced intensified criticism this week following his fourth consecutive loss to rival Michigan. This latest defeat was particularly painful, as the Buckeyes played at home against a Wolverines team with just six wins and an unsettled quarterback situation. Expectations were high for this Ohio State squad, which entered the matchup with a 10-1 record.
