Breaking: Recent Duke Basketball Offer Recipient Earns Another Star
Christian Collins, a rising senior from St. John Bosco High School in California, has been on Duke’s radar since late April and is among the most prominent prospects in the 2026 recruiting cycle. Just a year ago, the 6-foot-8, 200-pound forward was largely unranked across major recruiting platforms.
Today, he ranks No. 3 overall and is considered the top power forward on the 247Sports 2026 Composite. Furthermore, this week, On3 awarded Collins a fifth star, making him only the third prospect in the 2026 class to achieve this distinction.

According to Jamie Shaw from On3, “It was evident from our initial observation that Collins has an exceptional combination of size, length, athletic fluidity, and skill.” Standing at 6-foot-8, Collins plays as a wing. He can create offensive advantages while driving to the basket and has a smooth, reliable shooting stroke with range extending well past the three-point line.
“Collins is still refining his ability to take charge and consistently put defenses at a disadvantage, but that growth will come as he adjusts to being a top prospect,” Shaw added.
Additionally, Christian Collins is teammates with five-star guard Brandon McCoy Jr. at St. John Bosco, who is one of Duke’s early targets for the 2026 class and currently ranks No. 2 overall, just behind five-star forward Tyran Stokes
