The Ravens fan filmed violently assaulting two Washington Commanders supporters has handed himself in to Baltimore police after an arrest warrant was issued. John Callis, 24, dressed in a button-up shirt, surrendered to authorities on Monday morning and was seen being taken away in handcuffs.
Just so you know, last week police informed us that Callis was wanted for first-degree aggravated assault and three counts of second-degree assault. A video of the incident went viral, allegedly showing Callis—dressed in a Lamar Jackson jersey—attacking two unsuspecting Commanders fans after the Ravens’ victory over Jayden Daniels’ team on October 13. He knocked one fan out cold and shoved another into a brick wall, although the second man appeared to escape without serious injury.
Right after the incident, Callis expressed no regret for his behavior, flexing at the camera and declaring, “I don’t lose!” However, this will likely be considered a significant loss for him, as first-degree assault in Maryland could result in a maximum penalty of 25 years in prison.
