Steven Gerrard is reportedly interested in signing Rangers captain James Tavernier and defender Connor Goldson for his Saudi Pro League team, Al-Ettifaq.
Gerrard has been linked with Tavernier since his appointment at Al-Ettifaq nearly a year ago, and recent reports suggest that a deal for the 32-year-old could be finalized after the Scottish Cup Final on May 25.
While Goldson’s name was not initially mentioned in the reports, it is believed that Gerrard is also interested in reuniting with the player he brought to Rangers from Brighton six years ago. Gerrard and Goldson formed a successful partnership on the right side of the Rangers defense, helping the team win the title.
