Breaking: Oregon Gets Bad News Regarding International Prospect on Wednesday
The Oregon Ducks are set to do everything possible this offseason to return to the NCAA March Madness Tournament.
After reaching the second round in consecutive seasons but falling short of advancing further, the Ducks are looking to take the next step.
Their path back to the tournament will begin with a strong focus on recruiting.

The Ducks are still waiting to find out whether center Nathan Bittle will return to Eugene for next season.
In Oregon’s debut season in the Big Ten, Bittle earned Third-Team All-Big Ten honors and was also named to the All-Defensive Team. While he has declared for the 2025 NBA Draft, he still has the option to withdraw and retain his college eligibility.
As the Ducks shift focus to the 2025 recruiting class, they had high hopes of landing Dame Sarr, an international standout currently playing for FC Barcelona Lassa B (Treviso). The 6-foot-6 shooting guard brings length and athleticism to the position, but Kansas appears to be the frontrunner in his recruitment.
Duke has also recently entered the mix and is quickly gaining momentum in the race for the Italian prospect, along with Big Ten rival Illinois, which has become a popular destination for European talent in recent years.
According to 247Sports.com, Oregon’s 2025 recruiting class is currently ranked 82nd nationally, with a transfer class ranking of 56th.
