The Oakland Athletics have reached an agreement to add a seasoned infielder to their roster. According to sources reported by ESPN, The Athletic, and MLB.com, the deal was finalized on Friday.

The player, who is 33 years old, delivered a .250 batting average along with nine home runs and 52 RBIs in 128 games last season, playing for both the Atlanta Braves and Detroit Tigers.

He boasts a career batting average of .273 over 792 games since making his MLB debut in 2015 with the Cleveland Indians. Additionally, he has played for the New York Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays, Minnesota Twins, and Los Angeles Angels throughout his career. The signed player is Gio Urshela.
