Breaking Now: NC State Receive Heart-breaking News On Talented 4-Star Guard
NC State’s 2025 guard signee RJ Greer announced today that he is officially decommitting from the Wolfpack and is reopening his recruitment process.

RJ Greer, a guard signee for NC State’s 2025 class, announced today that he is decommitting from the Wolfpack and reopening his recruitment.
Greer had verbally committed to NC State on June 16 of last year and signed his National Letter of Intent in November. He initially chose the Wolfpack over a top four that included Cincinnati, Penn State, and the NBL in Australia.
247Sports, ON3, and ESPN all rate him as a 3-star prospect, while Rivals gives him a 4-star rating, ranking him as the #131 player overall nationally in the 2025 recruiting class.

This season, Greer was a finalist for Mr. Ohio Basketball, averaging 18.9 points per game for Alter High School.
As a result, NC State’s 2025 high school recruiting class currently consists of just one player, 4-star forward Zymicah Wilkins.
