The Indianapolis Colts released their Wednesday practice report.
The Indianapolis Colts today released their Wednesday injury report for Week 11 of the NFL season ahead of their Sunday game against the New York Jets.
Today’s Colts practice was just a walkthrough so the report is an estimation of a player’s participation is there was a practice.
Left tackle Bernhard Raimann missed practice today due to a knee injury. Raimann injured his knee early on in the game last Sunday against the Bills and was unable to return. Rookie Matt Goncalves replaced him in the lineup after also replacing him in week 10 due to a concussion he sustained. Raimann did not end up being ruled out during the game and stayed on the sidelines in uniform but it appeared the team veered on the sidelines of caution with him. Raimann will be one to keep an eye on this week.
Defensive tackle DeForest Buckner missed practice today due to a foot injury. Buckner played his usual snap count last Sunday and didn’t appear to sustain an injury during the game. He did land on injured reserve early in the season with a bad ankle sprain so hopefully he hasn’t reinsured the same ankle/foot. Buckner nearly always plays regardless of his practice participation but he will be one to keep an eye on residual with his much of an impact his has on the defensive performance.
Linebacker EJ Speed was limited at practice today with a knee injury. Speed had been slightly banged up of late having appeared on the injury report in recent weeks. He had been playing some lights out football recently and the production had backed it up. He would be a miss in the middle of the defense were he to miss Sunday’s hand against the Jets.
Wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr was a full participant at practice today. Pittman did not practice all last week and missed last Sunday’s game with back and finger injuries. Pittman being able to practice early in the week gives him a good chance of returning this Sunday and a great time for him to return with the team going back to Anthony Richardson at quarterback.
